shower water leaking though tiles. What can i do?
Hi when I take a shower I find water leaking though the ceiling below. I have re calked the shower but that did not solve it . After testing again it looks like the shower water is going though a few of tiles. How can i waterproof these tiles. Can i use a grout sealer? or will I have to re grout? thanks in advance.

Are you 100% certain the leak is through the tiles? Common leak locations are where the drain connects and at the shower faucet.
Where specifically on your tile is the leak occurring? The issue is going to be that tile is not the waterproofing layer in a shower. Tile is just the pretty on top. The work of waterproofing is done by a membrane or layer behind the tile.

almost pretty sure it's leaking though the grout line on the 4th layer of tiles. I tested the drain and there is no leaking. I tested each section of the tiles and narrowed leaking coming from the grout line on the 4th layer of tiles. I will go back now retest it to confirm but if it is that section only can I do something to try and seal it.
