Stain around faucet handle

Just installed new Delta bathroom faucet. The new hot and cold water base plates are smaller than the old ones and the damaged marble underneath is now visible. Are there plates I can add to extend coverage to match width of old faucet plate? Thanks

Pretty sure that a razor blade and some lime away would have cleaned that off... if you haven't put the handle on yet, I would give that a try.

Search for "faucet escutcheon" and see if you like any of those options.
