Glacier Bay Ceramic Cartridge Woes

OK, Glacier Bay, 8" kitchen wall mount.
Lately I keep changing out the cold ceramic cartridge and it still will drip. Sometimes once every 15 seconds but other times every minute or two (it varies), and this happens the same day I have changed the cartridge. I have changed it three times. The hot water has not given a peep of trouble.
Is there something other than the cold ceramic cartridge I should look at?
Note: Our water here is fairly hard.
It is an 8" wall mount faucet.

If you have changed 3 times then I'd suspect the faucet, GB is a very cheap line so might consider upgrading!

Yes, look at a new faucet and never never buy a store branded faucet. What you have is a Home Depot store brand faucet. I hear the same problems with Aqua Source from Lowes and Tuscany from Menard's.

I agree with the above two advices but funny thing, when I did a search for a similar problem with the Glacier Bay's faucets...I found none.

You are searching in the wrong places. Try asking someone who bought a house that was cosmetically fixed up cheaply as possible. I heard a few stories about Glacier Bay fixtures and a real nightmare story about a Tuscany tub/shower faucet.

Few years ago I was upgrading a bathroom toilet, the Kohler toilet we purchased was $400 but I could have gotten similar GB for $99.

I'm sure they were similar quality!!!
