Green buildup in toilet?

We have 3 toilets in our home and one has started having a green buildup in the bowl. All the plumbing is PEX, so I can't see this being copper related. Also, the other toilets don't have this problem.

Ideas?

Check in the tank.
Could be some type of fungus/bacteria.

Eeek! I don't know what it is, but it's ugly. Time to unleash the Javex!
Thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction.

It also looks like the water level in the toilet tank is set too high. It is normally about an inch below the top of the overflow tube.

Thanks.

I will be replacing all the interior tank components tomorrow and monitor to make sure these deposits don't re-occur.
