smell in shower

How do I get the sour smell out of our newly remodeled shower? We put a "teak" bench in after schlutter.system and porcelain tile was installed. The bench leaked brown all over the shower so we removed it, but the sour, musty smell remained and we can't get rid of it. It's been months of trying!

Id hose down the shower with some grout cleaner, which is an acid based liquid, if that doesn't remove not sure what else would!

I assume you attribute the sour, musty smell to the teak bench. Is it also safe to assume you have tried applying bleach to all surfaces?
