I'm reading around places and finding a lot of pros filling the tub with water, then spraying window/door expanding foam under the tub and leaving sit overnight. Then they will in the rest with regular red can expanding foam. They claim it works as a great insulator AND support. What are the opinions here? **edit** The more I think about this, the more it sounds like a not awesome idea. As far as the insulation thing goes though, is it dumb to stuff some fiberglass insulation around the tub before setting?

Hey guys, I have a 10yr old Price Pfister Pasadena faucet where the right-hand side handle has *completely* rusted at the base. The threads to remove the handle alone were rusted out and I had to use a hammer and screwdriver to get that off to begin with. But now the base plate and gasket seems stuck to the counter and the retaining nut/square plate on the underside it seems are stuck in the same fashion. I had Price Pfister send out their special installation/removal tool that fits over the cartridge and I can't turn the darned nut as it seems stuck or bonded to whatever is holding it in place. I've tried the following: 1) WD-40 and lots of it 2) Liquid Wrench 3) Some heat from a heat gun Nothing seems to be loosening it up. The plastic tool has slipped a couple times while trying to remove the nut underneath and I'm afraid I'll crack, break or strip the tool as it's made of plastic - I've already scraped plastic off the inside of the tool while trying to remove the nut since it's so stuck in place.
