Nylon or Rubber washer

If I want to stop a leak when connecting a faucet spray to a faucet, would I use a nylon washer or a rubber washer? I am ordering on Amazon but not sure which to order.

Just like when I connect my garden spray to the hose, I think that is a rubber washer right?

Regardless of the answer, what/when should a nylon or rubber washer be used?

Thanks

Rubber is easy, wasnt sure about nylon!

Flat nylon washers protect surfaces by evenly distributing torque when a bolt or screw is tightened. They prevent corrosion between a steel screw and an aluminum surface. A nylon washer can be placed under a machine screw to reduce noise and abrasion and offer electrical insulation. Sealing washers are used for plumbing and hydraulic projects.

Thanks Marq. I did see that quote when I was googling/researching "nylon vs rubber washers".

Anyway, I ordered this set that has both rubber and nylon washers. I will let you know how it turns out.

So my washer sets came today Marq1 and Pete. The bad news is that it is false advertisement that the washer would have nylon and rubber. Nope, only nylon. The good news is that it stopped the leak with the nylon washer.
