I am plumbing a shower drain into the existing toilet plumbing, not sure if my plumbing is correct or not. I haven't glued in the 2" shower drain yet, if anyone has any correction suggestions let me know. Thanks

No.... that isn't going to work. You need air behind water. If you use what you have.... the toilet flushing will empty the shower trap creating an open sewer line.
What is that pipe at the yellow arrow ?
It looks to be connected to the toilet stack in the wrong direction.
I agree, that wye fitting underneath the wall connecting to the vertical vent is installed backwards. The sweep must point downstream.
PJmax is also correct about where the shower should not be connecting. It should tie into the drain line on the downstream side of the vent but not on the upstream side as you have. You also need to make sure you have less than 5 feet of pipe length from the shower's trap to the vent. It looks like you will be close.
I wasn't sure of where to post this other than the odor is coming from the bathroom. And no it's not the obvious (poop!).
We have a terrible smell coming from our master bathroom. It's hard to describe the odor other than maybe a dead animal. I first thought it was from the piping, but we've cleaned the shower drain, multiple times using a variety of methods. I've cleaned out the P trap and into the wall underneath the sink. I've sniffed around the ceiling exhaust fan, but nothing. There is an attic in the ceiling in the adjoining closet. I've looked up there and smelled nothing and the insulation didn't look disturbed. There is also another bathroom right next to the master bathroom, but no smell in there.
Any suggestions as to what it could be? Or who can I call to have someone come in and investigate? The smell isn't present 100% of the time, and there doesn't appear to be any pattern as to when we run the water.
if this post should go into a different forum topic, please let me know.
Nauseously yours....Mike

I am remodeling a flip property bathroom and have added a shower niche. I saw Tile Coach on UT install an LED lighting strip here but he didn't include a product link. It's water proof, works off of a regular wall toggle switch, has a dimmer and the adapter or power supply is fastened in the ceiling above the wall switch. Whenever I do a search I am getting regular LED strip, some with their own little dimmer regulator. Any recommendations for the same setup or something that can work the same?

Are bathroom exhaust fans a code requirement? This is a flip property.
