Kohler Sensate Kitchen Faucet
The light always stays on now. Sometimes when I use the handle it does not turn on. I can still turn it on with the motion sensor. It is supposed to turn on with the handle then the motion sensor turns it on or off.

Welcome to the forums.
From what Kohler is stating.... the handle must be left on for the auto sensor to work.
You can bypass the auto sensor so that the handle always works.
If running on batteries... have you tried replacing them ?
Could not find any mention of light staying on but I suspect that means the faucet is stuck in sensor activated which means the water should flow when the handle is turned on.
In Kohler tech area it appears that the control board can develop problems and is replaceable.
That is an expensive faucet and carries a complete warranty. Kohler should send you parts at no charge and if replacing the board doesn't help... a complete replacement may be in order.
