Quick question on installing the sink drain in a Bocci porcelain sink. I just need to put the drain in but the manual just says put the sink strainer in per norm.
It looks like I just take the metal drain and foam white ring (in pics) in the top of the sink and screw the rest in from under the sink. I'm guessing the white foam ring needs no putty or anything and it's to go as it is right?
I replaced the stool in my daughter's bathroom due to a cracked tank on the old one. The old one fit perfectly fine on the floor but the new one rocks forward and back despite all my efforts to the contrary. It is stable side to side. I would estimate the gap at the front and back to be about 1/2" when the stool is pushed to the floor at the opposite end. I have started the process to pull the stool and reinstall it but am hoping someone might have some insight as to the problem before I use the only remaining wax seal in the house.
Should it matter, the new toilet is a Niagara Stealth and it is replacing an American Standard Champion 4.
The tub/shower valve was so tight and hard to turn that I could almost not turn it, so I just replaced the Moen cartridge with an OEM Moen cartridge, and it now works smoothly & easily, with the water going from hot to cold, as it should while being rotated clockwise, but as it approaches the 'Off' position (180 degrees, down) it shuts off (the water stops running), like it should, but then begins to turn back on again, before coming to a stop. In other words, just before the knob comes to a full stop (fully clockwise) the water will stop running, but then the water begins to run again right before reaching the knob's 'full stop' position. So, with the knob at full-stop the water is running again. Any ideas?
