The plastic clam shell clamp broke connecting the mixer line to the main spout. Any idea where I can get a replacement and new o-ring?
Not sure how old the faucet is or what brand it is. The only number I could find was on the base of the faucet 413763.
Here are some pics.
413763 is a Delta RP code. There are 44 faucets that use that code. Each faucet has a service pdf. Delta technical service pdf's
You may also find the fixture based on visual search and the RP code.
Once you locate the fixture visually.... you can use that model number in tech service search. Delta 413763 image search
My best friend died 4 months ago, leaving his widow a house and not much more. Last week she noticed her bathtub faucet was leaking. I live 100 miles away and couldn't help so she called a plumber. He replaced the cartdidge, spent 90 minutes and charged her $700. I can't get to more than $250, even allowing for the full 90 minutes. Can someone explain how the total could get so high. The faucet was not replaced and no work on the wall, itself, was needed.
Thanks.
Hi - I have re-caulked the lower part of my shower twice in the last 12-18 months. It's pretty basic work, and it looks like I'm doing it well initially but it keeps wearing away, and now it's worn away again. Today after someone used the shower we had a slow drip from the kitchen ceiling underneath - is it possible these few openings could cause a significant leak? I hope so, otherwise we have a bigger problem.
Thanks,
Andy
