Supply pipe to toilet supply line

Hello crew,
im changing my first toilet. After getting the toilet out( wasn’t easy as the bowl was clogged ) I’ve disconnected the supply line and there’s still water coming out. The mail cut off is off.

If the toilet is on a lower floor, there may be water from pipes above draining down. Open a faucet that is lower than the toilet to drain

If the above does not apply, the main valve may be leaking.

Just did. It stopped. I’m very grateful for this forum. I’ve been a member for many years and I’ve never been called out for being a moron. God bless you guys and gals. Stay tuned.
