If you were trying to link to the filter you need to select the text you want to make into the link. Then click on the horizontal chain icon. Then enter the web address of the product (it's easiest to cut and paste).
Whether or not a filter will help depends on the quality of your water. If you are on a well and have nice clear water it probably won't do much. If you have some turbidity or sediment in your water it should catch most of it. And, if you have city water it will remove chlorine/chloramine if the filter contains activated charcoal.

That filter looks pretty small to filter 100% of your kitchen's cold water for a year as claimed. Does it do "anything"? It probably does. But you don't need to filter water used to wash dishes, that's just a waste of filtration.
If you are fortunate enough to have an unused hole in your sink, you'll get more life out of any filter by sending the filtered water to a separate drinking water faucet.
