Question Recliner - adding stuffing to arms

Hello:

I just got a new recliner and the arms are not as thick and puffy as I would like. Unfortunately this goes for all brands of recliners I have looked at.

I would like to stuff the padded arms with more stuffing, but unlike the back and the bottom of the chair, there is no zipper, opening, or any way to add stuffing to the arms of the chair without ripping seams in it somewhere.

I've looked on YT and online for some videos on how to add stuffing to a recliners arms, but so far I haven't found anything.

Does anyone know where I can get detailed, illustrated instructions (or a video) on how to add stuffing to an upholstered recliner with stuffed arms?

Thanks

Even if you could stuff more padding then the covering would be too small to hold it in.

Taking it to a upholstery shop and having it rebuilt would seem only option.
