Replacement springs - grandma's rocker

We have my wife's grandmother's rocker that her mother had refinished and re-upholstered. Unfortunately they did not replace the springs. They are now worn out and do not support weight.
This chair uses six spiral springs mounted to two metal brackets and tied together with a ribbon. Are these springs or this assembly currently available?
I would need to remove the seat to replace this assembly/springs. Any suggestions as to how this may be done without pictures?
I do woodwork but have not done furniture. This is all new to me.

Thanks

You can buy replacement springs for car seats so if they are similar you might have a chance!
