Vinyl iles over concrete

I want to put the good quality peel and stick tiles over part of my concrete floor, is there anything I should do beforehand, besides clean and level the floor? Will they actually stick to concrete long term?

Make sure the floor is clean and level. I would flat trowel some vct adhesive down first, this will give better holding power.Follow instructions on the adhesive.

I had sheet vinyl flooring installed in my kitchen on a concrete slab about 3-1/2 yrs ago that has developed a separation at the seam. It is about 2-3 inches in length. Can anyone advise the best method for re-cementing it to the floor before it degrades to the point where I really have a problem?Read More

Bathroom floor replacement?

Hi, I own a three family home (rental),wich has a small bathroom wich has a sheet viynl floor wich I want to replace myself. Can 12x12 self stick tiles be used in a bathroom,or would water bother it? I have never replaced a viynl floor before,would sheet viynl be better?Any tips on putting it in,and whats a good glue etc to use?Iam looking for a simple,easy floor to put in,that will stand up to tennants....
