Self stick vinyl tiles

I have replaced vinyl tiles on cement floor after applying adhesive.
Tiles are sticking very well in the middle but the edges arelifting despite rolling. Any suggestions? It looks horrible!

yes, this works and it is simple. i apply a few pea sized drops of liquid nails(original formula) to the corners of each tile than lay them. works perfectly. i just did this to a concrete floor and it looks great.

now i have a question for you. can you lay vinal tile over shiny vinal tiles?

you can also try a blow dryer to heat it up and reactivate the glue and see what happenes that way first

Did you use the right adhesive?
Multipurpose, is too waterbased and will cause curling, because they are set into it wet.

Use VCT, Clear Spread adhesive and after spreading with the right trowel notch, let it sit for an hour or more, to clear out and get very tacky.

Don't set the tile into wet VCT adhesive! The glue will never dry and continuously ooze black stick crud from the joint seams/gaps.

If you used VCT and let it tack properly, a heat gun, not a blowdryer will heat the glue and make it sticky again. Becareful with a heat gun!!! You can scorch the tile!!
