Pulling up Carpet in Bathroom to replace with Vinyl Flooring

I was just wondering if anyone here can help me with this project? I would like to take the carpet up in our kid's bathroom and replace it with vinyl flooring to brighten it up plus to save the expense of replacing the carpet. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

you"ll need to remove the carpet and tack strip then the toilet,check the floor for drywall mud stuck to the floor and scrape off any thing else that mat be there.Use 1?4 inch luan or multi-ply for the underlayment

no glue vinyl floor

Just put down armstrong no glue vinyl flooring in the kitchen. When moving the fridge back in it stretched a few places, but didn't tear it. Now there is a buckle in the vinyl. Is there any way to make the buckle less noticeable. I tried using the hairdryer to heat the area and it did help a little. Any other suggestions?Read More

Cleaning Sticky Vinyl Floor

I have vinyl flooring in my kitchen. The last time I mopped it, I used a lysol all purpose cleaner with a sponge mop. It looked shiny and clean, but it is now very sticky. I have tried to re-mop 3 times with just plain warm water and the sponge mop, as well as another time with just a warm towel. It is still sticky. How in the world can I get rid of the stickiness?
