I just bought a new home a month ago...It has a white vinyl floor in our kitchen/foyer area...We have some clear scuffs(our son was pushing a chair back and forth on floor). I've tryed everything to remove them and there still there...Is it damaged for good or can i buff it etc...I need help or were thiniking on buying carpet because its seems to be hard to maintain...

Thanks! Eagle.

Is there any extra vinyl? It can be repaired. I wouldn't try it as a DIY project, it takes some time to learn to make a decent vinyl patch.

Try lighter fluid, the same stuff to start the bar b q

don't worry, the manufacturers use it too

You could maybe save the floor by cleaning the affected area with the alcohol and top coat the scratches one at a time with seam sealer.
