How flat is flat enough?
In preparation for laying some vinyl tile (12x12 squares, commercial grade) in my basement, I used floor leveler (a liquid product that is poured on) to fill in some seriously low spots. There is now a small ridge (1/8" or less) at the edges where the leveler meets the bare floor. Will this cause a problem in laying the tiles? Do I need to now use leveler on the entire floor?
