Vinyl to concrete?

I have a vinyl floor over plywood and would like to have a painted concrete floor, can I do this and if so how thick should the concrete be? All suggestions and comments welcome! Thanks in advance!

Vinyl flooring over concrete

I am having vinyl flooring layed in an area in my basement. It will be going on top of painted concrete. The area has a crack in it approx 1/4" wide. Should I repair this somehow? Is it possible to seal it with something to prevent moisture coming through? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.Read More
