Question Vinyl Tile Shrinking

My husband just put down self-sticking vinyl tiles in the kitchen. They really came out great, but about a week later, we noticed that some of the seams are separating. I don't understand the problem and what can be done to fix it? I would appreciate any help. sndyzsmbk610

Vinyl tile gaps

Vinyl tiles require acclimation to temperature of room where they are to be installed. Vinyl expands when heated and installing warm tile can cause gaps when the tile cools.

Question Re: Shrinking Tiles

THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP. DOES THAT MEAN THE TILES WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL? OR IS THERE SOMETHING I CAN DO? I APPRECIATE THE ADVICE.
CAN I PUT SOMETHING BETWEEN THE GAP?

Nope nothing is made to fill these gaps. That is why acclimation is so important.
