Basement flooring?

We're in the process of converting our basement (it's a walk-out to our back yard, which is of a lower elevation than the front yard) to a family room.

We're going to have to have a new concrete floor poured, because the old one that's there is uneven.

Anyway, once we've done that, we're trying to decide what to use over the concrete floor to make it more comfortable (and attractive). It's important to note that every once in awhile, we do get water in the basement. It's rare, but it does happen.

I was looking online and found this site... http://www.floorscore.com/playroom.html

Anyone have an opinion about using this type of product?

I've seen the product used in childcare areas. It would not need a vapor retarder beneath it.

that looks fine for a rec room, but maybe a little cold & hard for a "family room." will it be more of a rec room? like with a ping pong table & games & stuff, or will there be a sofa & tv area?

looks like it might be hard to clean all those nooks & crannies, too....?

i see your post was in June.....did you do anything yet?
