Peal & Stick Tile over linoleum

I want to cover a linoleum floor with peal and stick tile. Can I lay the peal and stick directly over the linoleum or should I put down a layer of luann. If I use luann should seal it in some way before laying the peal and stick?

Thanks Much

Emboss the existing vinyl, and then prime before laying tiles.

Is the linseed oil used in the linoleum likely to keep the lick 'n stick tile from sticking over the long haul?

emboss

Yeah do what that last post said emboss and mix the powder with latex liquid and not plain water that way it will bond to the old floor better. ONLY if old floor is down real good. Sand or scrape the dried emboss to make it real smooth. Just one thing wasnt mentioned was maybe use some clear vct glue and lay tile on that. The glue on peal and stick isnt the best method since they tend to seperate over time..
