Underlayment for vinyl

I have installed a new 5/8" OSB floor over existing 3/4" plywood. I am planning on installing a sheet of 1/4" floor underlayment on top of that to adhere peel & stick vinyl tiles to. Do I have to glue the underlayment to the OSB in any fashion or will staples alone suffice?

Thanks!

Glue is not necessary. Staple every four inches on the perimeter and every six in the field. Start in one corner and work your way to the opposite corner. This works the fullness out of the underlayment and gets it to lay flat with no "blousyness".
