Question repairing linoleum???

hello. we're trying to get our house ready to sell. the linoleum in the kitchen is really in pretty good condition except for a few scratched/gouged areas. i've seen "linoleum repair kits" for sale online. i don't really understand the theory behind these or how they would work to repair or at least hide these imperfections.

any feedback is appreciated!

If you have leftover linoleum that can be used for repair patches, then it is possible that repairs can be made. Without material for patches, then it's likely best that you replace the floor covering. Vinyl floor repair kits are another one of those As Seen on TV products that sounds too good to be true. The chances of mixing colors to match and achieving a nearly invisible, long-term durable patch are nearly impossible.
