Question

I am planning to replace my vinyl sheet flooring with newer, nicer vinyl adhesive-backed tiles. My sub-floor is plywood, in good condition. Do I just lift up the existing flooring, sand and clean it well, and then put the tile down along my layout lines? Is there something more elaborate I have to do with the subfloor first? I'd appreciate any help,

Zach

The floor should be clean, dry and flat. I hope your old vinyl is not full spread - that is -glue is spread over the whole floor and the vinyl is laid in the glue. You will have a problem getting the old vinyl up if it is.
