How to close seams in Vinyl Flooring

I have a new vinyl floor in and would like to close the seams what should I use to seam the seals?

You did the work? They make...guess what...vinyl floor seam sealer! Check at any flooring company or even the big box stores. It's a clear liquid that you careful put over the seam and it bonds the two pieces.

Depends on which vinyl. Some have a sealer that has to go between the edges. What kind of vinyl is it? Felt backed, glas bac?

IVC Impact Sheet Vinyl Flooring Flagstone Terra 43 - 12' Wide Overall thickness of vinyl is 105 gauge
Super Guard urethane finish
Wearlayer thickness is 10 mil
Recommend full spread with releasable adhesive
39.37" x 39.37" pattern repeat
Loose lay only 225 sq ft or less
Mechanically embossed
12' nominal width

I tried the what the store recommended but it didn't work just looking for suggestions or other things people tried that worked for them

I am considering putting in peel and stick vinyl tile in our laundry room and have heard of the possibility of grouting such tile. Does anyone have comments on this as a possibility and if so please make recommendations or point me to a source, please? I have no experience with such grouting but have used peel and stick in a previous home. I understand that any peel and stick tile should be secured with additional adhesive. Do you agree? Newbie Questions Adhesive Tiles

Hi, I am totally new at any sort of home improvement diy's and I have a few questions about installing groutable vinyl tiles in my bathroom, and a few other areas. I've attached some pictures of what is underneath my bathroom floor - under the interlocking tiles there is quiet walk and then just a concrete floor. Can I put the adhesive tiles right onto the concrete or do I need another sort of layer? I keep reading that you can do it straight to the concrete if it is very clean and you use an extra adhesive but I'm not sure if this still applies in a bathroom. Also you can see that some drywall work needs done near the floors. Do I need to repair that before I lay my tiles or can I do the tiles first? There is essentially nothing to butt the tile up against around a lot of the bathroom. I assume I will also need to rip off all of the molding (as you can see it was never installed correctly, they actually used two different moldings to cover the gap between the floor and the wall). One last question about using the adhesive tiles in my foyer - the attached picture shows the carpet to my living room and the fastening strip - do I need to do anything to that before i lay my tiles? Im afraid the tiles will be higher than the fastening strip. Thank you for any advice or help you can give!!Read More
