Rubber flooring roll seams not flat

I am installing a rubber floor in my gym, on concrete floor. I am using 1/2” thick, 4’ x 25’ rolls. I notice the seams do not lie completely flat (slight tenting). (Installation per manufacturer instructions. They said no double sided tape necessary, as each roll weighs about 350lb)

Will the seams eventually flatten out, or would I need to do something else?

Thanks

Have you contacted the manufacturer to see what they say about the seams? Maybe they will say to give it a few days and see if they lay flat.

Yes, I did. They were very vague. Basically said if edges do not flatten, use double sided tape...... duh! My issue is, I have really heavy equipment to move back into gym, and cannot wait weeks for it to possibly flatten, then only to go to plan B.

I went ahead and did the tape. Looks good now.
