How to glue down torn linoleum?

How to glue down torn linoleum?

I have a piece of linoleum that has torn and I just want to glue it down. What type of glue do I use? Epoxy? Superglue? Something else?

Depends on the type of vinyl.

Type of linoleum

Good question. I have no idea. Itís just a regular old sheet of vinyl installed over another layer of vinyl. Iíll have to take a picture of if.

Some vinyl is installed using multi-purpose, but it won't even stick to "vinyl-backed
" vinyl. Linoleum is a whole different animal.

There's a tape available that is super-sticky that I've used for patching my vinyl kitchen floor. You need to make sure the subfloor is clean.
