Vinyl Floors and Sealant
#1
My father-in-law borrowed my boat, and as repayment he cleaned it very nicely and then used a sealant (Armor All)on all of my exposed vinyl, including my vinyl floorboards. This, of course, has the effect of making the floor of my boat very slippery when wet. Not a good thing. Any suggestions on what I can use to remove this sealant from my boat would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

Solution
I just received two e-mails a specialist at Armor All explaining how to remove the product from vinyl. The pertanent information is pasted below:
ARMOR ALL Protectant can be removed by using a mixture of 5 parts warm water, 1 part household ammonia and 1 part dish detergent. Wipe this mixture on with a warm cloth and be sure to turn the cloth frequently; this will ensure that you do not re-apply the protectant after it has been removed.
I hope this helps with anyone else in a similar situation.
Sincerely,
Tom
