storing sheet vinyl
I have a 12ft wide roll (600 sq ft) of Mannington sheet vinyl that was delivered rolled up from the distributor.
It's been sitting for 15 months and I hope to get it installed in the next few months.
My question is about how it has been stored at room temperature.
When it is unrolled for installation will there be any problems because it has been stored rolled up for so long or will it easily flatten out?
Thanks,

The only way to store it is rolled up, so I'm not sure what you're thinking. It should be fine if it hasn't been abused in any way.

It is rolled tightly & covered in a heavy paper. That is how it arrived from the distributor and apparently was shipped that way. It is laying on the floor, not on end.

If it was rolled loosely, was laying on the floor and was now flat on one side that might be different. Sounds fine, although it would have been better if it was suspended in the air from the ends, like it is on the racks at the retailers. Rolled tightly on a tube and still packaged its fine.

Thanks. Rolled and packaged as originally shipped, laying on wood, fully supported over entire length. I did not have a way of hanging it and was concerned. I hope it will unroll fairly flat. I'll find out as soon as I can arrange an installer.
