Question How to safely glue rubber sheet in closed environment

Hi everyone, i would like to glue a Rubber sheet 1.50x0.75m (cut to size) on top of an ikea desk to use it as a workbench, since this is located in my office room, is there any safe glue (that doesnt release solvents) that i can use so i dont have to move the desk outside?

Non-flammable contact cement is low voc. Follow label directions. Any cove base adhesive would also work if you have a notch trowel to spread it..

Low odor is probably what you need.

Do you have to glue it? Is it thick enough to lay flat on it's own and stay in place without gluing?

Not sure what you have in mind but rubber is not the surface I want for a workbench.

Just make sure that the adhesive is made for rubber or it won't hold.
