would you want to? removing my old tiles was not difficult, with heat and wd-40. if you staggered them on top, the seam edges would eventually show through. Matching them, would give some deep seams (catching dirt and crud) I would think. I've learned that i would still use additional adhesive (like from henry's) in addition to what is already on the tile. still, it's a lot of work to put into something that a bit extra prep could guarentee a good installation.
