Vinyl over vinyl
Read the section on vinyl floors but still a bit confused.
Bought an old house which was repaired several times without much foresight.
Have a repaired subfloor that is the same level as the old subfloor with 1/4" wood and vinyl on top of that. To get that part of the subfloor back to the same level would be very difficult.
Want to put something new over the whole area that is level and consists of that mixture of plywood and vinyl surfaces.
What to use? Can the self adhesive tiles work there assuming I get the vinyl part of the floor in good shape (secured to the underlayment)?
Thanks

Installing vinyl over vinyl
Installing vinyl over vinyl tends to void product warranties. It can however be done. Click the link below to read another thread that asked the same question.
