Question 90 degree threshold

I have a raised kitchen floor (with vinyl) with a stair set into it. I need a threshold which will run along the edge of the tred, and along the side of the stair as well, forming a 90 degree angle. It currently has standard aluminum thresholds cut at 45 degree angles, resulting in a sharp point. Any ideas of special products, or tricks to get a clean, non-sharp joint in the threshold? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks. Pete

I'm also considering replacing the flooring, so if laminate floors, or other types have other ways to solve this I'd be interested about hearing them too. thanks.

Not sure I understand

Thanks for the reply. I tried the web site you referenced, but was not sure what you were recommending or thought I'd find. Are you suggesting I should use oak or some other natural product?
