What is the best flooring for a pizza shop?

I am looking for a perfect flooring for a pizza shop. Is there anyone who would recommend the best surface?

flooring for a pizza shop

For a pizza shop I suggest you to choose glazed porcelain tile, which combines beauty, durability and ease of maintenance.

Keep in mind that a smooth surface can become slippery when improperly maintained or in wet areas.
On the other hand, a textured surface, with a higher coefficient of friction (SCOF), if too rough will be harder to clean.

You can ask the manufacturer to recommend you some products with a good trade-off between SCOF and ease of maintenance.

Good luck

quary tile

For any resturaunt type setting I would go with a quary tile, and use a grout that has a high lime content.

A little bit nippy on the fingers for the one setting this, and it is a very hard tile, so tends to beat up your wet saw a bit.

But in the long run you will be glad because the stuff lasts, you wont be regrouting and replacing for the heavy traffic, and items being dropped.

I would go with durability.

Good luck.
