Tile Tabletop
I have a rod iron stand that I am wanting to turn into a table. I am wanting to use ceramic tile, but there is nothing in the center to put the tile on. What can I use to the lay the tile on in order to attach it to the stand?

How about some 3/4 exterior plywood and some of the oak trim avaliable for use with ceramic countertops. You put the trim on the plywood, and then install the tiles. The trim is made so that the tops of the tiles are even with the top of the trim.
