Removing mortar and grout from tiles
#1

I've had to remove several tiles from my kitchen floor to replace a dishwasher (yes, someone before us tiled in the dishwasher). I have to now remove the mortar and grout from the tiles before I replace them. Is there a way I can do this easily without breaking the tiles (further)?
Also, one of the tiles that I removed broke in half. Is there a good bond agent that will put the tile back together again? It would have been easier to simply replace with new tiles, but I can't find a match.
Thanks.

Hi
You can use a power sander with coarse paper on it to remove the mortar...as far as fixing the broken tile..?...something that would be used to fix dishes or pottery would work.
