Ceramic or Porceline

Whis is the prefered tile for flooring. I am looking at a slate ceramic but I am concerned about the cuts if the edges will look as natural as the top. The tile only comes in 12x12 so there are no trim pieces available. What do you all think

Porcelain tiles have the color all the way through the tile. So when they are cut, it is the same color along the cut from top to bottom.

Glazed Ceramic is not like this. It shows the color of the clay it is produced with on the cut edges.

You may want to read an article I wrote on the difference between porcelain and ceramic tile. It can be found at http://www.tileandstonetips.com/porcelain.cfm
