Tile over linolium, or remove it first?

i want to lay tile in the kitchen. Currently there is linolium. It seems to be in good contact with the concrete, except for one area about 1.5 sq ft. where it seems to have let go a little from the concrete. is it ok to go ver this with tile, or should i remove all of the linolium? if i do have to remove it, what will i have to do to prep the concrete for tile?

thanks,
mitch.

i would go ahead and remove it,if it is loose in one spot i may very well have released itself in others as well and just may not be showing at this time.Pull it out and scrape the concrete to smooth get all trhe backing off the floor, you can use a 4" scraper to do this
