Question how to remove tile backsplash

Recently purchased a home with tile counter top and backsplash. I would like to know the best way to remove the tile from the wall (backsplash) without damaging the drywall. The tile work is new (1-3 years old). The backsplash tiles are 4"x4". All suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks

If it is drywall it will be damaged. Plan on a little drywall patch.

more than likly it will just be the layer of paper on top the dry wall that will peel off.Try not to dig into the drywall to get the tile off, there will be loose peices of paper when finished just scrape them off and make as smooth as possible

DO yourself a favor and just rip it out .......tile , drywall, the whole thing.......If your careful you can get the whole section off in just a couple large pieces. Drywall is cheap....very very cheap.
