Concrete subfloor

I am installing ceramic tile (approx 500 sq. ft.) on existing concrete floor. The floor is level but has cracks in some areas, some are hairline others are 1/32"-1/16" wide. Will this present a problem?
Thanks, Bud

It may, The industry sayes not to tile over a crack becouse it may cause the tile to crack . MEMBRANES ARE SOLD FOR THIS PURPOSE. At the present there is no standard for them but it is coming soon since ANSI has it for vote. see and look at Noble Seal CIS . It was the first product made for this use. It can be installed in strips or the whole floor.
