Removing old caulk
#1
#3
I just replaced my vanity/sink and I found this stuff at Home Depot that eats caulk. It has some obvious name like "caulk be gone" or just plain "caulk remover" and it was located near the caulk in the home improvement store. Anyway, I put this stuff on the caulk and let it sit for a day. This made it very easy to scrape the caulk out. Some areas needed two applications but I wasn't in a hurry. There is a warning that the stuff might discolor certain surfaces but I didn't have that kind of problem.
