Tile first....or vanity ?

Silly question.....
I am about ready to begin my first tile project in a bathroom.

I am replacing a vanity...which I believe was tiled around...
As I am trying to estimate material, the question popped up... Is it better to tile the entire space then install a vanity over tile, or is it cutomary to install the vanity and tile around it ? What would a pro do ?

Thanks,
Ben

I would do tile first. If it were vinly flooring I'd install the vanity first. With tile, tile first

It sure would make setting tile easier if you set the tile without the vanity being there.

Now if there ever came a time you wanted to remove the tile, for whatever reason, you would be hurting.

Plus your paying for tile you never see, but I am sure its very little for a vanity.
