Grout residue on porous tile

Hello
I laid some 4" tile on my bar that was a brown tile but had a very worn pattern like it was old and used. The problem is the style made it very porous and it sucked in the grout residue so when I went back to wipe it down it was impossible to wipe it clean. Is there a chemical that Im missing that will help me remove the grout because its making my tile look really hazy. Any help is appreciated thanks.

Grout release before you grouted would have been the solution.

Now that your left with a mess. wet the tile and scrub with a 3M pad.

There are acids too, but you better be real careful with them.
