backerboard setting

I'm tiling my bathroom and will start with wonderboard. How long should I wait after laying it in thinset (and screwing it down) before I can start tiling? Thanks!

24 hrs should be plenty of time. I also like to tape the seams with fiberglass mesh tape. Use your thinset like drywall compound.

There is no need to wait. The thinset under the wonderboard is there for support not to bond. It is only there to keep the hollow spots from occuring. Tile away!
