Shower floor

If you Build a shower floor(for ceramic tile) out of Cement board how do you pitch it for the drain?

dont use cement board,use mud.(mortar)slope 1/4" per ft. to drain,install pan (liner),1 1/4" mud over liner.
other option is a pre pitch (pro slope) from noblecompany.com details for shower system also avalible there.

Definitely use a mud bed. There's no good way to make cement board work for a shower floor. It's intended for level floors.
