Question Tile layout question

I am re-tiling a 1/2 bath- onlt about 5x5'.
What is the best layout?
1. Start from one full wall with full tiles and work toward vanity and toilet leaving cut or half tiles behind toilet.
2. Start from middle and work out to each wall
3. Lay tile out beforehand and see what works and looks best
Thanks

Go with door #3, do a dry lay-out, on site, then you can figure where your cuts are going to be & do your cuts before you start laying thinset. Also you can figure the best lay-out for the area in question.

Hope that help, Happy Tiling!

If you can use (or know someone who can) Adobe Photoshop or other comparable computer graphics program, you can draw your room to scale and superimpose a layer of tiles that is moveable within the room borders. Then you can tinker to your heart's content and see what layout is best.

Definitely lay it out first so you know where your cuts will be. The worst thing would be to find yourself cutting 1/2" strips to get the last row in place. (Voice of experience. )
