BAthroom floor

How long after I lay tile can I work on the tile surface?...not Grout just stand and work on other parts of the room.....

Depends on the thinset, some can be walked on as soon as four hours. Check the bag for further info.

My experience with different mortars is limited, so I'm sure you're right Daniel. As a single data point, I just looked at a bag of Versabond that I had sitting around. It says, "Allow to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before grouting or light traffic, depending on termperature and humidity."

just to clear the air here,they make accelerated setting thinsets for small jobs and repairs that you can use ,go to lunch come back and grout and do a tap dance on if you wanted to.

But back to the subject,if you are going to do this ,work over the tile i mean,better cover it up cause you don't want to get the grout joints full of crap that you'll end up sucking out later
